It is our utmost importance to promote Health & Safety throughout our setting, Thus:
 

	We carry out regular fire drills.
	Children with infectious disease will not be looked after for the recommended time, e.g. sickness, 24 hours.
	We have a strict hygiene policy which promotes hand washing and strict hygiene routines in food preparation areas.
	All food served to children are nutritious and avoids large quantities of fat, salt, sugar, artificial additives, preservatives and colourings.
	We are a non-smoking household and no guests are allowed to smoke in our house.
	Up to date records of allergies or illnesses of the children in my care will be kept.
	An accident book will be kept up to date.
	Risk assessments are carried out daily.
